Child Charged With Attempted Murder After Robbery Gone Wrong

A teenager has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after a shooting that occurred earlier this month, authorities say.

The 16-year-old was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 14 after being connected to the Friday, Dec. 2 shooting, according to Baltimore police.

Police say that the teenager shot a 62-year-old man in the 100 block of West Hamburg Street during the course of a robbery.

The teenager was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged.
